Background

Established in 1997, Landscape By Design Ltd (LBD) is a professional consultancy for Landscape Architecture that has been a member of the Landscape Institute for well over two decades.  LBD offer creative landscape design solutions for public open space and public realm, industrial and commercial schemes, care homes, social and private housing, healthcare, education, transport, law and order, retail, sport and leisure and many other sectors.

Past clients have included: developers, PLC’s, contractors, councils, house builders, consultants, community groups and private estates etc. Centrally located in 'The Village’ of Moseley in Birmingham, LBD develop design ideas using hand sketching as well as (of course) landscape design software and CAD.   

John Cutts, the Principal Landscape Architect states: "I have a simple approach, namely, to be flexible and friendly whilst doing my very best to satisfy the client.  I prefer, where possible, to run the project from its inception through to completion on site, in order to ensure that the design is delivered intact."
